Train up your child in the way he should go . . . Proverbs 22:6
Envisioning a world where an ever-increasing number of children are trained, educated, and protected from birth to adulthood, in their own nurturing and inspiring homes.
We saw the need as we have witnessed the struggle of institutionalized education to replicate, or even come near, the higher quality learning children receive in their own homes, from parents who love and understand them. Our children are our future.
Encouraging and empowering parents to regain authority by homeschooling their children throughout childhood. Holistically effective instruction is offered which reunites education to its lively roots of mind, body, soul and spirit. Using biblical principles with a Christian worldview, children grow strong, respectful and wise in their home environment of love and learning.
Because our children are our future, we want them to grow strong, be smart and be leaders of righteousness and truth. We have found that homeschooling creates children who are the best educated, the most well-rounded and the most secure in their emotions. They grow up to become the best leaders.
There are so many reasons to homeschool your own children. For one, this is God's plan. He wants women to be centered in the home, love their husbands, and raise up their children in the Lord. Titus 2:5 KJV When you take this role seriously, God blesses your obedience and commitment. You can help create fine Christian offspring who have integrity and are patriots.
Homeschooling creates a closer family bond. Most frequently, your children will look up to you as their authority figure instead of strangers. This will become more apparent when they reach puberty and their natural tendency is to pull away. Because you have established a bond of trust and not given your parental authority to another, your children will normally have more respect and appreciation for your role in their lives.
One thing many families never think about is the psychological effect institutional teaching has on children, and this includes "Christian schools." Children are required to emotionally disconnect from their parents every weekday, connect with strangers all day, separate from them and then try to emotionally reconnect with their family at night. This is not a normal nor emotionally healthy way to be raised. Homeschooling children in the safety and security of their homes is the most natural way to insure they maintain the Christian values that are so important to have success in life and to have a good relationship with God.
